Tonight sort of felt like that 22 game win streak inside Kinnick back in the early aughts. Just had that feeling the Hawkeyes were going to will it out at home with that crowd behind them; relying on their defense to shut the door.

Just a few weeks into the season there were members of the media saying that Iowa should never pay for a transfer quarterback again.

Hopefully those same people comment on their position again. Would love to hear their updated opinions. Hopefully they're less horseshit than they were before.

As a South Dakota St alum, Iowa getting Gronowski was a huge deal for me. I have loved watching that kid since the second he stepped on the field because that heart was evident right away. He’d die on the field before he quit.
