This past week & as I was packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes I’ve reflected on my 2025 hobby goals. It’s been successful. At times life, job & family took precedence, as they should, but I’m very pleased/grateful for all this hobby year has brought & it’s not over!

Looking for NY Yankees stuff for a buddy in town and a secret Santa. Specific players they collect would be Bernie Williams, Mariano Rivera, Don Mattingly, Derek Yeter and Aaron Judge. However I’m open with other nice options to surprise them. (Prefer to be in the range of $25-$50) What do you have?

I’m thankful for Operation Christmas Child & the opportunity to serve with my family each year for this organization. We set a record in Eastern Idaho of 6491 shoeboxes packed in 427 cartons/boxes (22,231 lbs). I was able to send packs of approx 28.3k baseball cards as filler items! So cool.

I’ve a request from a FB group I’m in. A member whose 11 yr old autistic son is requesting mail for his birthday on 11/27. Would anyone be willing to send a letter or card to: JoJo Hartless 1733 Robbins Place Wilmington DE 19805 ? (Btw He’s an Eagles fan & Cooper Dejean fan…sport card not necessary)

Walt Weiss…sounds like plan B to me. That could have been announced weeks ago if he was our top guy. Guess we will never know the ones that spurred us.

So I got some pretty cool news. I’ve finally got an opportunity to potentially start a card club. My wife said the kids really want one! Now I need to write up a structure/purpose/design by the end of the year. I’d love to hear from/get advice those who run them and what you do. #cardsky
