You ever look for the lyrics to a song on the internet and find that every copy available are a not-quite-complete transcription you did over a decade ago on the (now-dead) LyricWiki before it was apparently borrowed for every other lyric site on the internet?

This has happened to me several times.

This came on earlier today and felt apropos of the current climate.

"We tried assassinations, it's the same
Demonstrations and violence, but it's still the same to me
Economic sanctions, it's the same
Tried dragging their names through mud, but it's still the same to me"

The internet ever moving beyond LiveJournal, niche internet forums, and AOL Instant Messenger was a mistake.

I think it's been pretty well-proven at this point that anyone who doesn't change their name on here to not be their username is a complete piece of shit. At this point, there just needs to be a way to block everyone that has bsky.social in their display name.

I used to like Emmet Otter as a child, but as an adult all I can see is the yokel, fake country bullshit, anti-modernity garbage at the core of it. It's so backwards someone should be clutching their pearls about Elvis' hips.

And The Nightmare deserved to win the talent show.

Michiel Huisman is the bland, unflavored oatmeal that you add to your movie or TV show to be sure people don't get too emotionally attached to the characters or too engaged with the plot.

Remember, Kim Schrier is fucking garbage but we actually have a better Democratic option this primary than "bullshit enlightened centrist". #WA

Just saw my first Cybertruck in the real world.

My nine year old said "What is that ugly car?" After I explained it to her, she grimaced and replied "That's a bad car."

I'm at a friend's house and an episode of "Bones" is on in the background... If AI could write worse dialogue than this bizarre, inhuman nonsense, I'd like to see it. These Boomer-fodder police procedurals have to have been written by a robot programmed by aliens.

Seeing the very last screening of Furiosa in IMAX (in a completely empty theater) before that shitty Bad Boys sequel takes everything over.

And, still, women are going to try to justify how they'd rather get parasites from eating a bear than eating a man.

The only appropriate response to someone opining about the great shame of remaking a movie as classic and excellent as Road House is to tie them up, place them in a rock-filled sack, and dump them into an abandoned quarry.
