Former sometimes writer. Full-time father. Hater of many hates. World-class misanthrope. Vulgarity enthusiast. Mostly just watching YouTube, playing games, and being petty since 2006.
I used to like Emmet Otter as a child, but as an adult all I can see is the yokel, fake country bullshit, anti-modernity garbage at the core of it. It's so backwards someone should be clutching their pearls about Elvis' hips.

And The Nightmare deserved to win the talent show.

That was the very first thing I thought of...

It's probably kind of sad how many spreadsheets I've made to keep track of things. Like my Warframe spreadsheet that covered every frame, weapon, companion, arcane, etc., that I could possibly get, plus whether I've done my important weekly tasks. Or tracking my music production software.

I started watching it while I was cooking earlier. You really went in on that "shouting Burgess Meredith" impression, didn't you? That was the major take-away from the Rocky segment.

I switched to Emby about a month ago because I was tired of Plex's bullshit.

Is it because they drop you and your family immediately after getting in an accident or getting a speeding ticket? Because they've been doing that for decades.

I can't remember if I ever tried my hand at one. It was probably way too busy for my limited skills. I ended up going with Ultramarines back during Rogue Trader partially because they had the easiest insignia for a 12-year-old to paint by hand on a shoulder plate and not have it look like dogshit.

I don't think YouTube is going to let you put up all the pictures people make of you with a dick in each hand.

What hath Joe Palooka wrought?

That's one of the reasons I stopped watching horror movies around 15 years ago. They started focusing so much on bullshit supernatural, pseudo-religious propaganda that I couldn't stand to be even involved with the genre anymore. I don't want anymore "true stories" about things that never happened.

I'm always bothered by the fact that they made movies whitewashing and justifying the bullshit of a couple of career grifters.

I still have several of them. And I use one of them every once in awhile at home but even the 120 GB was not big enough for my uses after a while.

Honestly, I could watch you do this kind of stuff all day.

I remember all those games sitting on the shelf of my local comics shop for a few years.

I didn't really love it when I saw it in the theater, but I appreciate it far more now. Shocker that it was too slow for a bored teenager.

I do love Michael Mann, though. But I tend to prefer Thief.

He was going for Rammstein, but ended up at "I open for Boyd Rice."

Is this his photo for his neofolk, darkwave, or industrial band?

Looks driven.

I'm feeling more 2.

That's the type of thing you need a second set of ears for.

Man, I just finally bought all the parts to Tenora Prime and Zakti Prime last week. And Guandao Prime a few weeks before that.

As someone who has seen but doesn't particularly care about the Alien franchise, I'm always struck by the fact that they pop out of someone's chest and then are bigger than a human in about 15 fucking minutes, which seems absurd, though I understand for the purposes of moving a film along.

@bennjordan.bsky.social can tell you why this is a shitty idea.

I will assume my cancelation of Disney+ and Hulu a few hours ago was the straw that broke the camel's back on this one.

Bob Iger's spent the past few hours sweating through his suit and cry-vomiting until Kimmel agreed to return to work.

I went into my closet today to grab a shirt to wear around the house and pulled out my TAM 2014 shirt for the first time in many years. I'm not sure if I've got one from 2013 as well. Those were the only two I managed to make it to, but I got to see you speak and had breakfast with you one year.
