i wrote about a limitation of PKM apps that's been bothering me lately.

i have a strong mental association with my external monitor + keyboard desk setup. i'm so used to writing code from this space that i find it difficult to use it for anything else.

i'm trying to break this mental association by trying out different pre-work rituals.

i want to be able to choose where i direct my attention, and i want to do it mindfully and intentionally. social media doesn't let me do that, so i quit using it entirely about six months ago.
