On a lighter note, we started watching “The Studio” last night based on all its Emmy wins, and it is laugh-out-loud hilarious. Only two episodes in, but I can see why it won so many awards! Nice job, Seth Rogan & friends. A nice break from our current reality.

A legend, a mensch, and a damn fine actor and filmmaker. Ordinary People is my favorite movie of all time, which was Redford’s directorial debut. How you make a movie so full of emotional depth your first time out is either dumb luck or sheer brilliance. I’ll give him the latter. RIP, Mr. Redford.
