Hey everyone, you’ve been asking me to run for office for a while, so guess what?

I’m running for California State Assembly!

Now, I don’t like asking for money, but we gotta pay for this somehow, and if everyone throws in $7 we’ll have the resources to run one hell of a race, so, uh, do the thing.

The President, two of his current Cabinet secretaries, his former strategist, his biggest donor, and his pending Fed Chair nominee are all in the files of a pedophile who ran a sex trafficking ring, while the attorney general and a former Cabinet secretary let him get away with it.

Seems kinda bad?

As Melissa points out in the replies, this guy, who also proposes putting women in "breeding gulags" to be repeatedly raped and forced to give birth, had dinner with the president of the United States.
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”

Slightly off topic, but my favorite Valentine’s date with my wife was when we were both in college (before we got married), and we didn’t really have plans so we decided to see if we could just walk in to Lawry’s and it was half empty because a bank had just been robbed down the street.
This is an unapologetically sappy feel-good subject (at least, I guess, for people in a happy relationship”). So, to prepare for Valentine’s Day, what did you and your partner do for a first date?

My wife and I went to tea at Huntington Gardens and walked around.
On our first date, my spouse and I spent like an hour talking about footnotes.

There is no reforming this. There is only abolition, and then trials.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

This is something the Nazis used to do to Jewish children in the camps. It happened to a man I knew when he was a child in Auschwitz. The camp guards thought it was funny as hell.

This this a thousand times this.

The foundation of almost every problem we have is a wealth inequality problem (which also ties into this country’s particular history of racism and white supremacy).
AOC: "Extreme level of wealth inequality leads to social instability and drives authoritarianism, right-wing populism, and really dangerous domestic internal politics. That is a direct outcome of the failure of democracies over decades to deliver."

I think the thing that enrages me the most about Musk is that he presents himself as some sci-fi nerd hero doing everything possible to save humanity by going to new planets.

If your plan for saving humanity doesn’t include the people already on earth, you’re just a racist piece of shit.
As a direct result of the obscene actions of Russell Vought and Elon Musk in destroying USAID, we can expect “at least 9.4 million additional deaths by 2030, if the current funding trend continues.

About 2.5 million of those deaths are projected to be children under the age of 5.”

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think we should be taking scientific advice from a demented pedophile who tried to redraw a hurricane chart with a sharpie.
Q: What do you tell Americans who are concerned that repealing the endangerment finding comes at a host to public health and the environment based on science?

TRUMP: I tell them don't worry about it. This was all a scam. They'll have more money to spend for healthcare.

What’s funny about Late Capitalism vs. OG Capitalism is that they’re not just different things but, in many ways, opposites. Take “too big to fail,” for example. Capitalism is based on failure! In feudalism the lords couldn’t fail, so they made a system where bad things collapsed and were replaced.
