IRIS VAN HERPEN FALL 2025 COUTURE COLLECTION [3/3].
The model wears a floor-length, sleeveless dress constructed of white, fractal shapes. The hem of the dress is made up of multiple fin like panels that call to mind a mermaid tail, and features dramatic lasercut designs along the hips and shoulders, almost like vertebrae. The model wears a fisthtail style dress cut high on the left hip, baring most of their left leg. It covers the right one entirely, ending in a dramatic train that drags behind them. The dress is made of a man-made bioprotein developed by Spiber, called Spiber Brewed Protein, which is created from fermented sugarcane. A number of other dresses in the collection are made of the same material. The dress is covered in a series of gill-like swirls that curl around the model's body. The protein is fully recyclable and can be broken down  and reused as feedstock for new protein. The model wears a white corset-style bodysuit with exposed boning and cups. The fabric between the boning is nearly sheer. The model wears the same sonar-inspired shoes as the rest of the models walking for this collection. The bodysuit is covered in dramatic, billowing panels of sheer, organza fabric stretched over thin boning. IRIS VAN HERPEN FALL 2025 COUTURE COLLECTION [2/3].
The model wears a blue dress with a dramatic cape. The cape starts at light blue at the shoulders and darkens to a deep ocean blue at the end. The dress is made of numerous organic cutouts and ends at mid-thigh, with thigh-high boots that are a living extension of the dress. 

The dress itself is made in collarboration with biodesigner Chris Bellamy, and contains 125 million bioluminescent algae which will emit light in response to movement. The light show is not pictured here. The Pyrocystis Lunula algae were grown for the show, and molded into a protective membrane that forms the dress. The algae thrive within the custom-molded nutrient matrix and were grown in a lab that mimicked their natural marine conditions. The model (and dancer) wears a organza dress stretched over carbon fibre bonings. The dress obscures the model's body in deep-sea like silhouettes, cut through with lines of lights. The full dance involves the model shrouding themself in the fabric and using bamboo wands to mimic the waves of the sea. The model wears a copper patina sleeveless dress with a corset style bodice that reveals the inside of their chest and sternum. The dress has dramatic panniers with scale like fabric, forming dramatic false hips on either side of the model. They wear the same sonar-ring shoes as the other models. The model wears a sleeveless floor-length loose dress inspired by the Dohrnii jellyfish. The dress is made of Japanese airfabric in a gradient of soft peach to a deep plum from neck and hem. The dress has a dramatic "cape" of crescent moon curved shapes made of bonings laser-cut from translucent carbon fibre. More gradient dyed fabric hangs from the boning, forming jellyfish-like wings.
