yeah that's true, anything in the square enix folder itself you can just drag over wholesale.

it's the plugin settings and such mostly to be worried bout if you wanna preserve any of that.

oh and don't forget to back up your UI & hotbar settings and such in-game! you can do it from the character select screen & right clicking your character i believe!

idk about penumbra library, bc personally have mine hosted on an external so i just plugged it into the new pc and made sure penumbra was directed to the right folder again.

also copy your reshade folders and stuff to just drop back into ur xiv install rather than reinstall from scratch

you will have to reinstall the plugins ( it is not recommended to copy straight over ) but if you just drop the copy of that xivlauncher folder into ur new pc's appdata, it should retain all your settings and such.

when it comes to your plugins for xiv, just save the xivlauncher folder in your current computer's %AppData ( the dalamud discord has instructions for this if u look up backing up or transferring xivlauncher )

oomf was asking me how many alts i got and it's uh.............

i think last i counted, i was at... 20? of them two is enw ready, one is shb rdy, two are in stb, and the rest are majority up to hvw, with a few in arr patches.
