Hope you’re not buying shrimp. (If you didn’t know, Walmart is recalling shrimp for being radioactive, I kid you not.)
Yk, what is it with Poland and making brainrot references in foreign indie animated series?

First it was Caine from TADC saying “Welcome back my skibidi sigmas!” and now this?
I thought it did have potential, but then they just had to kill it off with NFTs.

If you’re going to market a game, don’t sell something that isn’t a tangible, physical, overpriced item that puts more carbon emissions into the air than anything.
Sure the NFTs are optional, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a huge turn-off for players in the west.

Had they have not used NFTs in the first place, they would’ve probably been successful.

When I first saw Tokyo Beast, I thought it looked pretty cool… until the NFT part.
Compared to the rest of the world, Japan buys NFTs, which people would buy in support of the company.

However in other countries, like America, it’s seen as useless JPEGs that hold no worth, because it’s not even a tangible product.

NFTs are not a physical, tangible product.
I had just received word that Tokyo Beast is apparently shutting down.

To be honest? It had potential. But unfortunately, because they used NFTs, it killed it off. Had they not used NFTs, it probably would’ve gotten a wider appeal.

Little update: You can use a Gacha system in the game to get “Proxy Beasts”. So using NFTs is optional.
So at least there’s an alternative if you don’t want to ruin the environment.
But, my point still stands. Fuck NFTs.
Here’s a video of me discussing what I found out about a video game that looks cool, but it’s use of NFTs are a huge turn-off.
Go check it out!

Donating actually helps improve the site. So if you don’t want to have slow load times and a crappy UI, then I’d recommend you donate in support.
Guys, I found a YouTube alternative for those who are hopping on the YouTube age-verification boycott bandwagon.
It’s not perfect and needs work, but at least it’s better than what YouTube is offering.

There is also a donate page on there to help as well.

You guys gotta check out what my friend @alexparr.net did. :3
After watching The Bad Guys 2 in theaters about two nights ago, I can’t stop fannessing over both films.

Imagine if I made a Bluesky client for the Commander X16? 🤔
So I want to put on my take on this whole beanmouth thing.

If I were to animate a beanmouth personally, it would be in 2D. If not, I would not make it look like a grubhub commercial (because of lighting effects and motion) and go for a more Bad Guys look.

We just gotta have a beanmouth done RIGHT.
