My bio photo is of the award given to the family who lost a member at war. I use it in protest of our leading gov party desire to eliminate the no-first strike phrase from our constitution and change our ‘for defense’ only role of our self-defense force.

Task completed - a bit more laborious than I expected, having selected paper 4x as strong - really plastic with thin paper on both sides, hence not wanting to lay down. Needed to switch from glue to double sided tape.

Shoji papered sliding doors back in place.

It has always been OK to not go to college. Trades persons, service persons don’t need college to survive - though college is great for expending everyone’s understanding of society and the world at large.

What needs to be made OK - is funding for everyone who wants to go.

Measles were gone in the U.S. until Trump made a devil’s deal with RFK Jr. to make him HHS Secretary. Not any more. 1,288 cases half-way through the year. 38 states, 2 kids and 1 adult dead. And it’s a lot more serious than in grandma and grandpa’s time.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

They weren’t detained before the election - this is a case of ICE being allowed to run amok - a post election situation. The felon and his Christofascist handlers not managing - but rather giving ICE freedom to do whatever they want. Haven’t heard of any involved ICE agents being fired.
