Just remind yourself that you arent actually doing 12.5k 🏞 that is what helps me on big number hikes or looking at a seemingly daunting peak from a distance 🏔 Molas Pass starts at just over 10k whether you start on the Durango side or Silverton, so at least its "only" a 2.5k gain and not more 🚵‍♂️😉😁

Looks way bigger than it is : Mt Mestas is 11.5k and where I am standing on my friends conservation land across the valley is around 10k

Do they help? Yes.
Do they cure? No.

Highly recommend Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I have Ultra-Rapid Cycling Bipolar 1 Disorder and all of the anxiety that comes with it 🤪
I also have DID: EMDR was the game changer!
Combine DBT & EMDR = 👌😊
Even got a tattoo after I finished DBT "courses": Deep Breaths. Acknowledge. Accept. 😉

One of the things that hurt my heart the most when we sold our house: Leaving a decade worth of rocks, crystals, minerals, ores, fossils, and semi-precious gems that I hauled down mainly from high alpine mines. It is a surprise I didn't break my back 😅

Dysautonomia Awareness Month is observed globally in October to educate the public and provide support for individuals affected by dysautonomia, a condition affecting the autonomic nervous system's ability to regulate involuntary bodily functions, like heart rate and blood pressure. Started by Dysautonomia International in 2012, the month encourages activities like "lighting it up turquoise," requesting government proclamations, and seeking media coverage to increase understanding and support.

The seven most common symptoms:
Difficulty Standing Still
Fatigue
Lightheadedness
Nausea and Other GI Symptoms
Brain Fog and Mental Clouding
Palpitations or Chest Discomfort
Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing

There's already so much confusion surrounding EDS, we need to make sure folks know there are 13 types, and the newest studies are only for hEDS, or Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome 📖
