In a sentence never before uttered by humans, I am delighted to share that an alligator stole my conservation instructor’s hat by jauntily walking into the water while wearing it 🐊
It’s that time of the year where I gather up all of my clothing projects and do a sewing sprint! While getting through all of these is over ambitious, I think I can knock out half 🧵

Did a double whammy of changing my profile pic and name at the same time.

If I seem like an over familiar stranger in your replies, I’m probably not! Still the same person who overshares on crochet, cross stitch, and cats! 🧶🪡🐈‍⬛

'Humpty' ~ Wooden spoon carved in Basswood with broken eggshells and pigment. Base was Bald Cypress... (maybe).

Same joke as last time..

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
Followed by a brutal winter

Happy Halloween!! I have dressed up as a Spotted Lanternfly for work today—what’s spookier than an invasive species threatening your native biome??

I passed by a woman walking what I thought were dogs, but upon closer inspection they were two small, chipper goats. I love this for her.

'Loopy' ~ Wooden spoon carved in Sapele wood with Holly overlay. Loopy not only describes the spoon.. but also the maker after he realized he could have much more easily carved the Holly BEFORE laminating.

I don't normally do this, but I've been burning the candle at both ends.

Other half had a major op earlier this year and now I'm in hospital for an investigation.

Regardless of what's wrong, I need rest, but I've had little work this year.

I'd appreciate if anyone is able to help out.

RELEASE DAY! Demisexuality is a complex little understood sexuality, often confused with idealised social expectations.

This short collection of poems and essays is my story.

I have somehow convinced my coworkers to get really excited about Fat Bear Week this year and today one of them printed off our bracket sheets and taped them to the wall in our area to keep track of our votes 🐻

When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine,"

That's... usually not the case!

In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using.

We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that?

I have space in September for a proofreading project!

- I'm really enjoying proofreading romance/er0tica at the moment, but I'm also on the look out for fantasy/sci-fi.
- Any length, but obviously longer pieces will take me longer to work through!
- DM to inquire!
