Any upsurge in measles is of real concern, but in settings aggravated by poor living conditions and malnutrition, it can be disastrous. It can affect adults, but young children are at particular risk.

📣 Humanitarian aid is a moral duty, not a political weapon. Although some aid has entered #Gaza, #Israel still restricts access, delays shipments +bans critical items. This blocks @msf.ca from operating with the urgency needed. Aid needs to flow freely, safely, at scale, NOW across #Gaza.

🍁 I stood alongside inspired & mobilized Canadians on Parliament Hill for #Gaza. We held pictures that were reminders of the human cost of #Israel’s campaign of genocide.
🩺@msf.ca doctors can treat the wounded, but we cannot stop genocide. That responsibility lies with world leaders.

My colleague Hussein was a dedicated nurse and father. Yesterday, he died of injuries from an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.
Our thoughts are with Hussein’s wife and young children.
His killing isn't a tragic accident, it's unacceptable proof that no one is safe from genocide.
