According to the WHO, health is defined as “a state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity" but did you know that there is no universally agreed definition for ‘wellbeing’? That’s up to each one of us to ultimately define for ourselves.

Today at the @rcnmidwiferyforum.bsky.social we are celebrating International Day of Midwives 25.

Being a member of @InternationalMidwives.org, we call on our members, partners, and all midwives to advocate for and celebrate this year's theme, "Midwives are critical in every crisis."
#HappyIDM25
Happy #IDM2025!

Today we celebrate midwives—essential, trusted, and critical in every crisis.

In a world facing growing emergencies, it’s not if crisis will strike—but when. And when it does, you want midwives there.

Join us to celebrate and advocate🔗 zurl.co/9HXQm

Prolonged screen or reading times can lead to eye strain, dry eyes, and headaches. DO ✅ take breaks! Use the 20 - 20 - 20 rule to help your eyes:

📏 Look at an object 20 feet away
