At the same time, we can’t just install a heat pump as a bandaid solution without addressing building envelope and ventilation issues. It’s like applying a hot pack to a patient with a fever.

Arctic-rated heat pumps are possible but need to be developed at scale. This is a great advocacy opportunity for @avilewis.ca. We need solutions for all parts of Canada.

The United States can afford socialized medicine. It just chooses not to when people elect leaders that choose to put money elsewhere. Be careful who you elect in Canada. Conservatives in Ontario and elsewhere in Canada are killing this.
