I don’t believe in self-governance anymore. We elected an idiot racist authoritarian insurrectionist because grocery prices were too high. Our only hope is the economy remains shitty next November. If every election is merely a referendum on the economy, we’re fucked. It means we have no principles.

I’m convinced Tulane will win a first round playoff game just for the shared awkward moment among all the people, myself included, who were fussing at Lane Kiffin for leaving a potential National Championship team.

I'm assuming people are. I haven't personally seen any on my various TLs, but then again, I have muted/unfriended Trumpers.
I toggle between praising MAGA for finally turning on Trump to villifying them for carrying his authoritarian water for so long. Ultimately, though, I just know that it's hard for me to admit my mistakes, much less to admit them publicly. Grace is tough. So, good on you if you've vocally tapped out.
