Got recently nerd sniped by the new no-more-streaming trend and related retro nostalgia vibes. So I ordered an Innioasis Y1 this morning, to see what all the fuss is about. Black, 128 GB. Took me some days since this color/storage combo goes out of stock instantly! Would love an iPod comeback tho 🥲

our household has converted to the kagi search engine & i'm impressed by its FEATURES (did you know that your search engine could do what YOU want it to do??) for instance: the community-driven "stopslop" where people downrank results that are full of AI slop.

I’m not a native English speaker, so I often try to think of sentences in English hoping to somehow improve fluency. But then I realize the whole process happens in my head, with all its implications, and I soon feel like an AI training on its own output.

It would be nice for Rails to allow on-demand swapping of the cache backend in tests. I've come up with my own solution, in the shape of a custom cache store: lovli.fyi/KTzd
