In the first half of 2025 China’s new additions were more than twice the new capacity installed by the entire rest of the world this year. The #2 on the list, India, installed 24GW. The US at #3 installed 21GW. There is an order of magnitude difference. lovli.fyi/zWVS

My preference goes to long form write-ups for discussion/decision making, followed by the actual breakdown of tasks into cards. The analysis process makes sense even as a meta-task on its own.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

#railsworld was a huge festival and celebration of Rails and a closing party in the coolest museum. Loved hanging out with a bunch of my favourite people 🥰 And as a true bureaucracy fan (yes, I am), I loved the Ruby Embassy and the Ruby Passport the most 🤣🛂🏤👩🏻‍⚖️

At Rails World 2025, I introduced ReActionView, an initiative to explore what's possible in the Rails view layer for 2025 and beyond.

As part of this, I announced Herb::Engine, an ActionView-compatible ERB engine built on top of the HTML-aware Herb Parser.
