It’s time I crank up the search for new work to 11, because wow I really need it.

Bottom line: you bring me aboard your web publishing or software team because there are many fires vying for your attention and I figure out which ones to put out first.

@primaroxas.bsky.social Hey there. May I DM you regarding a logo design? It's not within your standard packages so I'd like to discuss.

Heads up: ENV variables with dashes (-) are not POSIX compliant. They will be accepted by most shells, but not sh. So if your ENV variables are present in some contexts and not others, look here.

...and hopefully save yourself hours of puzzlement. You're welcome.

If C-family languages were as popular as LISP and vice-versa, would C-family users be as evangelical as LISP users?

Of the apps that I need a "wrapped" from, my bank is very low on the list. And yet, there it is!

You can still get reasonably priced tickets, let's get on that, prices will go up once more because early (and large) purchases are manna from heaven for events.

Love what Kagi are doing. Not only excellent, no BS search, but trying to reinvigorate the interslops of the 2020s.

2026 is going to be a year where I try to surround myself with more positivity. I get that things aren’t always great, but being in groups that complain about it all the time festers misery.

So here’s to a great year!

Ahh, yes. New Years’ Eve in a country where manchildren spare no expense at making loud boom booms. Us dog owners welcome the new year with headaches from the loud metal we play to drown it all out.

Cynicism aside, happy new year!

A full TUI framework, reusable components, styled output, forms, markdown rendering, spinners, charts, and a lot more!

Doing some interior research for our house rebuild. After leaving the umpteenth website because of another unclosable modal window, I'm struck by how normal it is for the Web to be unusable in 2025. I'm so used to suffering through this stuff now that I hardly even notice it.

December is the month where everything from music streaming services to smart toilets hit us with a "Wrapped," detailing our supposed habits of the year.

Personally, quantisation of these habits impacts my enjoyment; it stays back of mind as I otherwise enjoy music. Just let me be.
