So poetically rendered.

I am losing it! Yeah I should.

I've had a permanent GitHub notification that I cannot get rid of for a couple of weeks, now. It's when a spammer mentioned me in a repo that no longer exists. I hate it :(.
Screenshot from the Notifications area of GitHub, where a "1" shows next to the repository "ycombinator/-co" on the side pane. In the main area, that repo is filtered to, and no notifications are available.

Literally the reason I use yaml. Or jsonc.

Better at spending time on things that don't really matter instead of those that do? I'm pretty good at that!

FYI you can replace `x.com` with `xcancel.com` for as long as that stays up.

Well, it doesn't suck...

On my todo list to move to it. Already running OpenMediaVault on a custom NAS which has been rock solid for years.

Yeah okay so maybe I should switch :/.

Now’s a good time to add CHECKSUMS to your Gemfile.lock. For an existing project:

bundle lock --add-checksums

This will add a new CHECKSUMS section to the lockfile that Bundler will keep up to date.

Now, configure Bundler to always include checksums:

bundle config lockfile_checksums true

Sadly the soft coating has peeled a whole lot on mine. Am I just a savage?

With ~900 PR merges per month, even we find it hard to keep up with every new Zed feature landing. 😅

Hidden Gems aims to showcase some of the not-so-obvious features and workflows that we rely on daily. Give it a read, and if you have hidden gems you rely on, let us know!

In before a vim golfer tells you you could do all this with some esoteric command in under 3 characters.

Thanks for the rundown! This all still feels a bit magical to me, but I think I get it when we talk in terms of it just being data.

Which are you using?

I’m still not totally clear how this all works, but I believe this means you move all your data to a different host?

I can only imagine the ass I’d have made of myself, permanently etched on the internets. I mean I still do that but I’m old now and don’t care so much.

Same here, to be honest. I find it pretty bizarre that a chat system aimed at gamers has become the de facto standard for open source work. But it is what it is!
