Will give it a try. (I switched to Duck Duck Go a while back, but it doesn’t seem to have helped - it’s the stuff that’s being presented as legitimate content that’s the problem.)

I use Duck Duck Go, but I still click and read stuff that is obviously AI, i.e. people posting it on their sites or whatever as if it’s legit. It’s so annoying.

…are AI slop. And I don’t just mean that summary at the top of the page, I mean lots of the actual content that I click on. The critics’ takes (after the viewing) are such a big part of film enjoyment for me, and AI is trashing it. I do still buy print media (Empire, Sci Fi Now etc) but… 2/?

If I watch a film that I like or is interesting or is odd, I’ll search it afterwards to get other people’s takes on it - what did I miss, what did I get, what did I misinterpret, that kind of thing. But I find I can’t do that so easily these days, because I search for something and the results… 1/?
