This time last year we learned that the homeless population was living in such dire circumstances they experienced rare lice infections were so bad they were transmitted to organ donation recipients. What did we do after that to respond to human beings in those conditions?
Yikes: A tuberculosis outbreak has been declared in inner-city Edmonton. 12 people have gotten sick this year. Two recently confirmed in October, suggesting it's spread.

I would love to see a code of conduct for elected officials that has something similar to the lawyers' obligation to speak and criticize the justice system without undermining respect for it. This piece treats the unbelievable language from elected leaders as normal, and that's a problem. Wab Kinew
