Porpoises contain more calories per kg than seals or sea lions, so while they likely require more effort to catch, it's a good return on investment for Bigg's orcas. Here, matriarch T060 "Panthera" swallows an unfortunate harbour porpoise.

Southern resident orcas are all up the West side of Whidbey and Bigg's are all up the East side! So happy to know they're there. If I'm lucky they'll come visit me in Edmonds today. 🥰

It feels really first world problem of me that I'm going to Hawaii next week last minute, but it's for the worst reason imaginable: a family member is sick.

I took a walk in the woods filled with birdsong and it was just what I needed. Now I'm at the studio trying to get some applications to shows and things figured out.
Mood is stinky today, and I'm very sleepy, but I'm trying to be productive and positive. ❤️
