This has become a great Christmas tradition. Order your cards here 👎
Because the Millie character is a homage to our grannies, aunties, mas, generations of Mná Ultach maybe no longer with us, it feels like it’s their support, strength, community reaching back to support women today who need it, through my aul pencils & @womensaidni.bsky.social 💚#UppaMillies
When I started this Christmas card project in 2022 never did I think it would raise £50,000 for @womensaidni.bsky.social in just a couple of years but with your support that’s what we’ve done to this point. Looking forward to seeing what we add to that this year.

What i love about sending these is that it feels like I can share a tiny bit of my own soul archaeology,to some of you. Millie's places are those I've lived close to or passed every day. Often ive seen them through the same rose coloured glasses as Millie, so you get to see that too.

Could this beautiful island manor, located next to a world-famous Neolithic site and above a Pictish burial ground, be the most 'haunted' place in Scotland? 👀

This hits different. Just like Belfast castle last year, but this time it's Central Library.
This millie hid there, through the Troubles, as a child. Devoured books encouraged by librarians who were in fact angels in disguise.

I love how the famous characters of the time, could and would interact without knowing any final outcome other than the production of the Arts itself (books in this case)
Dublin / Australia / Belfast

Sara is a wonderful artist and designer and her Christmas cards in support of @womensaidni.bsky.social have become something of a mini tradition in our house. I know many of you won’t be in Christmas mode yet but, if you can, please consider purchasing some unique cards for a great cause.
