Early Detective Conan is fun. There are so many awesome cases, and the fact that these are being done back in the time of 90s, when technology isn’t as advanced as it is today. While that isn’t necessarily an issue, I think it creates a lot of cases that would likely be way too easy to solve in the modern day.

I genuinely thought that for me to find this series, considering the subpar way that Crunchyroll has labeled their Fall 2025 shows so far, I was gonna have to play "Season 1 Russian Roulette" when looking for this show. I’m going to also limit this post to being my thoughts, because this episode is one where I think you not only need to watch the rest of the series, but also the episode itself to truly feel the impact of the episode...and as a result, I don’t want this review to serve as a replacement for watching the episode. I'm going to take the translated title as a victory despite the fact that the translation I got from the next episode title reveal thing was off by one letter, as Google Translate doesn't know the context of the series, so it couldn't know that the title was supposed to be related to only one character instead of being connected to multiple.
