I initially got this screenshot for an upcoming post to my blog to show that subtitles for this episode were screwed up. I can't believe it now serves as a time capsule for the labeling of the Detective Conan anime on American Crunchyroll...especially since I watched this episode YESTERDAY!
A screenshot of someone watching Episode 7 of Detective Conan on Crunchyroll. Note that the series is labeled here as "Case Closed (Detective Conan)".

It was nice to see that Crunchyroll has now completely dropped the Case Closed branding for Detective Conan. Instead of labeling the series "Case Closed (Detective Conan)," it's now simply "Detective Conan."

Took long enough, but glad Crunchyroll did something right here.

This news about Oshi no Ko is huge. What happened? Did HIDIVE lose out on the simulcast rights for Season 3, or is the licensor just adding Crunchyroll as a simulcast partner in addition to HIDIVE?

Early Detective Conan is fun. There are so many awesome cases, and the fact that these are being done back in the time of 90s, when technology isn’t as advanced as it is today. While that isn’t necessarily an issue, I think it creates a lot of cases that would likely be way too easy to solve in the modern day.

How it feels analyzing each Detective Conan chapter/episode to see if I can figure out who the culprit is before Conan can.

Anyway, for those of you who followed me here to get notified of my DetCo posts, next one's coming October 6th at 5:30 PM PDT! :]
