I recall there was a 3 phase plan that freed some hostages but Isreal couldn't wait to bomb the shit out of Gaza so we never got to Phase 2. So now we are back to Phase 1 of 20.

Don't misunderstand- 1 day of peace is better than none but this all seems so theatrical.

I guess we wait and see.

Well ICE or CBP called 911 for help at Broadview and when they showed up the Chicago PD was gassed.

I'm personally in the ACAB bucket. This would be a great time to reset our values as a country. I'm afraid one side is doing just that. It's not the side of human rights however.

Of course we should seek and celebrate peace.

But I can't help but feel like a war lord culture in the Middle East is being rebranded and hinges on the US keeping the bombs coming- for more than Isreal now.

Peace would be great. But it feels like there are many strings attached to a lot of it.
