one of my first ever youtube videos just got demonetized. I was annoyed, seems dumb how they can go after a 6 year old video. then I saw what they actually claimed it for and realized it was for using a Carol & Tuesday song as background noise. Hit me with A FAT wave of nostalgia so kinda worth ngl.

personal theory was that Jax wrote off Kaufmo as the sad clown. Jax wants to be Bugs Bunny and prob tried to assign some kind of lesser status Kaufmo to preserve his status as the trickster "star"

the majority of the audience still listening don't wanna be reminded how old they are. I think there was an Oldie but Goodies type group that started to included 80s/90s songs in their catalogue and their listeners rioted.

I think the emphasis on forming community and it being their bond that allows them to survive the circus is why i'm okay with the constant 1-1 but that's just how I rationalize it.

them having Jax scream what's been obvious since Episode 1 got a good cackle out of me even as the performance made care. But the amount of people who are only now getting it, and how Jax's treatment of Gangle was horrible sadly proves that some people need the subtext SHOUTED at them
