the Jo Malone collab is generally the best of the Zara fragrances, but this one really hit it out of the park as a fragrance that develops as it dries down and doesn't have the cloying synthetic quality Zara can tend toward. easily the best fragrance I've gotten there

@ hmj people: I have added using alt text to the rules for being on the chatters list. you need to be consistently using alt text in your image posts to be on the list, as it helps moderation filters and is more accessible. bluesky allows you to require alt text in order to post in settings!

Holy shit, just learned about the typewriter art of Montserrat Alberich Escardívol, a Catalan typist. Using an extra wide typewriter and 180 color ribbons, she built up elaborate images from simple characters like 'm' and '.' and ';'. Here is her typewritten painting of the Cathedral of Barcelona.

The biggest difference in being a native speaker vs functionally near native for me is that sometimes a random word will dredge up from the depths of absolutely nowhere and I'm not sure how I know it but it's there in English and that would simply be impossible in Portuguese. Bilingualism is fun!
