god, i was so creative between 2020 and 2023, fack what happened. i found an awesome story idea just squirrelled away, never even wrote it, but amazing title and plot and everything and i had so much creativity i TABLED IT because i had STILL OTHER IDEAS

The deepest confirmed fish observation occurred at ~8,300 m. I know the shape behind it is another fish’s tail, but my brain insists it looks like the foreground fish is wearing a party hat. #deepsea #marinelife
