False. She was one of the two finalists. Only in hindsight can you cherry pick the analyses that gave her no chance. The 7 swing states were still contested at that point.

Not voting for the 2nd place candidate lets the 1st place candidate win.
In democracy, you support your ideal candidate in the primaries, then the best/least bad choice in the general election. Pretending it doesn’t work that way is self-defeating.
