Some much of the world simply sucks right now. I wholeheartedly declare that if all feels better when you get out in a crowd and experience live music. The Alex G show at the Filmore was just what I needed.

Kerk is so not a high leverage guy. He struggled with men on base. He struggled with back2back appearances. He struggled to field his position. He struggled to have basebal instincts. I'm tired of having those guys on my team.

On Kerkering - If a baseball player hits a ball, the only instinct is to run to first base. If the player stumbles out of the box, they don't panic and run somewhere else. The only instinct is to run to first base. 1/2

Well the instinct is ingrained in you at age 5. "With 2 outs the play is at first". That's the only instinct I want on my team.

I'm more excited about the next Phillies season than I ever was about this season. The pitching staff is gonna be electric. And next years lineup is gonna be a great mix of players that battle and don't wait for Harper or Kyle to rescue them.
