Cam Payne, Mathurin, Walker, Toppin, Jackson. So Nembhard, Nesmith, Siakam may have the game off.

OKC has six exhibition games so they didn’t travel everybody. And they’re here for Pacers’ season opener.

A wave of injuries has hit the Pacers’ guard rotation — the latest to T.J. McConnell — prompting the team to bring in veteran Cam Payne on a training camp deal.

T.J. McConnell will be out at least one month with a left hamstring strain, which suggests it's Grade II.

It's why the Pacers brought in Cam Payne today to add depth at point guard.

Guards Sheppard, Jones, and now McConnell all missing time. Plus Haliburton (obviously).

News: Pacers waived guard Delon Wright, then signed Cam Payne — the 14th pick in the 2015 draft. He was with the Knicks last season.

Siakam scored 14pts, Nesmith with 12. Pacers shot 51%; 88% at FT line. 14 guys saw time in the first half.

Quenton Jackson, Taelon Peter finished half at guard, a position of concern now. Like it was for the Fever.

Spurs hosting Guangzhou Loong-Lions tonight in a preseason game — and Guangzhou added several former NBA players.

That includes Victor Oladipo, who wants to play again in the NBA after being out since 2023.

Former Pacer Justin Holiday is also on the team.
