I don’t subscribe to NSO Expansion Pack, but the Analog 3D supports the NSO N64 controller, so I had to pick it up! Homebrew support for the GameCube one is still TBD, but I’m optimistic it will come around.

Saw Iron Lung today. I really enjoyed it! I haven’t played the game and I haven’t watched any Markiplier, but I have deep respect for solo passion projects and had to see. Incredible work with so much attention to detail. Hats off.

The 10 companies to boycott during February:
- Microsoft
- Apple
- Amazon
- Google
- Meta
- OpenAI
- Netflix
- Paramount+
- Uber
- X
Why this ICE boycott wants consumers to resist Amazon and Google
Could consumers give up Netflix and YouTube for a month? That's what a strike protesting Trump’s immigration enforcement is asking people to do.

I can’t believe this. I spent about four hours trying to troubleshoot my Apple TV randomly no longer being able to control my TV’s volume via HDMI CEC. This happens a lot, but the typical fixes didn’t work.

Oh my god
Next year the PlayStation 3 will be older than the NES was when the PS3 launched.

The original Perfect Dark has a “HiRes” setting that boosts resolution, but also tanks the framerate to near unplayability.

But on the Analogue 3D, it works just fine—even in splitscreen co-op!

The Analogue 3D is a Nintendo 64 Pro.

It is the best N64 experience you can have with modern displays.

Overclocking treats the performance bottlenecks, and the image filters restore the intended look better than my Retrotink 2x Pro.

So wild to see a review score visible outside of a click, but that’s what The Verge is doing now. Another good example how quality improves when you are the customer, not the advertiser.

Just got to take my Analogue 3D for a spin for the first time. Wow the games look so crisp! And the overclocking makes them feel more true to themselves. I’m really impressed right off the bat. I wish the Everdrive compatibility was better, but maybe one day we can play off the SD card instead.

So weird to see how everyone swears they actually loved Kirby Air Ride back in the day. I liked it too, but it was mostly panned at the time.
November 19, 2025 at 12:15 PM
Okay, so they fixed City Trial in Kirby Air Ride by letting you choose from 4 events, and since you have more players in the trial, you will always have at least one competitor.

This was my main issue with the original game—you would often build the wrong machine with no recourse.
