Story of the game. Scotland created chance after chance, only to flub badly when it counted.
It is chronic and habitual behavior for Scotland against top 4 teams.
ABs were torn to shreds repeatedly only for Scotland to find a way not to score.
It keeps happening & is deeply frustrating.

Probably are positives to take from that Scotland performance, but hard to see them when we keep losing big games the same way. Give the other team a two-try start before we start playing. Only manage about half an hour of solid attacking play. False hope. What could have been. Rinse and repeat.

We've been lacking 80 minute performances since Greig was playing. Tbh no team can do those, there will always be ebbs and flows, but a concentrated hour of effort should be the minimum expected...
