I wrote about how incredibly easy it is to move from ChatGPT to another AI chatbot (Gemini, in my case), a fact Sam Altman seems to know and be concerned about. www.fastcompany.com/91454222/cha...
ChatGPT’s AI lead may be more fragile than we thought - Fast Company
Suddenly Google’s Gemini is looking a whole lot more formidable, especially since it’s remarkably easy to hop from one AI chatbot to another.

And here we are…
Graduate seminar did a deep dive on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense yesterday. At the line, “in America the law is king,” they (14 students from 6 countries) burst out laughing. I've been doing this for 35 years and this is the first time that was a laugh line.

I seem to recall that it was the biggest 1st Amendment attack in American history when the Biden admin alerted social media companies to some content and said "hey does this violate your policies?" Will Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger and (lol) CBS News Editor in Chief Bari Weiss call this out?

This right here ⬇️
If you rename the Department of Defense the Department of War, then bomb fishing boats in the Caribbean, and shoot an unarmed priest in the head with a pepper bullet, you should automatically be barred from receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for the rest of your life.
