For Mariners game, main cold front has passed Detroit but it looks like it’s going to stay fairly raw and drippy into the late evening there. Temp dropped about 10 degrees in 2 hours.

Did it feel like this summer was more muggy than usual in Seattle? According to @bennollweather.bsky.social, Seattle/King County had its 3rd-muggiest summer (June 1-Aug. 31) since 1981. Snohomish County was 2nd! #wawx

Just like you’d expect: 2 of the hottest towns in Western Washington today are Forks (95) and Port Angeles (92). Seattle was “only” 87. Bit of downslope/offshore wind today. #wawx

Smoke has drifted back into Seattle - especially the Eastside over toward Sammamish and Redmond - from the #BearGulchFire in the Olympics. But the rain later Tuesday and ESPECIALLY Wednesday should clear out the air and limit the fire.
