PowerPoint? If so - there’s an option in the upper right hand area of the screen to swap displays.

Some podium setups immediately take the “primary screen” slot on a plugged in laptop.

I feel like some more well-received paper must have done it and now it’s everywhere.

Do you only want folks who are currently in the UK? I’ll be there starting in January from the US. Might have some perspective…

Apologizing to a very jet lagged Hugh Laurie at a bbq spot in NC after a girl hounded him for a photo and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Quick question: does anyone out there have a good sample analytic plan section where they describe Dynamic Fit Indices to a non-quant-heavy journal audience successfully? Working on one now and it would be immensely helpful to adapt. #rstats #AcademicSky #statssky

Implementing statcheck during peer review is related to a steep decline in statistical reporting inconsistencies
osf.io/preprints/ps... #MetaScience The results are credible, suggesting one should use statcheck as a low-level intervention during peer review (or earlier by the authors) 1/

For what it's worth, I'm brash as hell and I don't speak "academically". For the most part, I get very little pushback or pearl-clutching. Might be that I'm a tiny Jewish woman, so there's that element, but I don't really love the idea of embodying the Ivory Tower helps anyone.
