That's about all I have to say without spoilers, so maybe I'll revisit this one another time.

but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. The sound mix itself was so poor I put the subtitles on to know what the characters were saying.

Something I really appreciated was how much more violent this was than the weird empty bodies of What-if.
I enjoyed Hailee Steinfeld returning as Kate, and Todd Williams had a badass voice as Blade. To touch on the visuals, we unfortunately still have the awkward What-if movements and weird lighting. As for sound there's some nice distorted sounding parts to go with how wrong this all is,
cameos, and concepts (one early on being Shang-chi and Katie leading a Fury Road-like group of survivors while singing covers of songs on the radio, a cute nod to their karaoke singing from their film). As usual for animated content I want to point out some voice work, without giving too much away
Shang-chi, Katie, and some other survivors from San-Francisco. Kamala joins up with Blade (taking up the Moon Knight identity in this timeline), Red Guardian and Yelena and both groups converge. From there I don't to spoil any other story things but I will point out I loved some of these locations,
Right off the bat I really liked this group and would have loved more of them, unfortunately the same dumbass virus is still about as characters in this will CONSTANTLY be like "hang on I'll hold them off" and pointlessly die when they had time to run. Frome episode 2 onwards we also follow
Marvel Mondays #10
Marvel Zombies
Released: 2025
Watched via: Disney+

Missed last week as the flu jab was kicking my ass!

Marvel Zombies starts 5 years after the What-if episode, starting off with Kate Bishop, Riri Williams, and Khamala Khan all becoming active a bit earlier than the film timeline

It's funny to me that regardless of advanced our phones have become it doesn't fucking matter because the person on the other end still can't make out what your saying without using the NATO phonetic alphabet.

if you're not happy single, you won't be happy in a relationship.

true happiness comes from playing persona 5 royal.
is a series highlight.

Finally touching on visuals, they're fine, but there's this weird lighting in What-if where everything looks too bright and it gets unpleasant to took at.

The episode ends up a really mixed bag, watch if you want to watch Marvel Zombies but otherwise not sure I can recommend this one, though it
tonally though, we have a big problem. There are way too many quips for a situation this dire, even from characters who are usually more serious like Hope and Bucky, even the Watcher says "that happened" grrrrr. Scott Lang goes too quippy to where it's almost every line.
has a sweet friendship with Hope. It was nice to see some of these characters interact with each-other, and all the voice acting was good (Bettany as Vision, Thames as Peter being my favs here). There's some nice action and creative power usage (swarm of ants, portals, the webbed up train cars)
into the horde, and Bruce also pointlessly sacrifices himself well done everyone.

As our 4 remaining idiots fly to Wakanda, we see that zombie Thanos is there with 4 stones oh shit.

So, getting the positives out of the way, I like Hudson Thames as Peter Parker, he mostly comes off well here and
YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S IMMUNE HELP THEM DUMBASS. Anyway Wanda is coming so Spidey, CoL, Ant-man's head I haven't mentioned yet, and T'challa board the jet that was..there...the..whole..time VISION YOU FHGU;WSGHG oh and Okoye and Kurt get turned or killed by Wanda, Bucky gets pointlessly yeeted
cure WHICH HE HAS. IN HIS HEAD. I also doubt we wouldn't think of Wakanda, also, did the virus get the phone lines or?? Why can't anyone communicate especially when we know some sort of signal was sent by the camp? Vision atones by..ripping the stone out and destroying himself
people in to feed her, including T'challa, who is rescued by Bucky. I hate this tbh, I feel like Vision would absolutely not stoop to this level, in Infinity War he was willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good, but can't do the same for Wanda who is already effectively dead without the
and carrying the others to the camp, before collapsing into a zombie horde. The survivors meet Vision, who has been using the mind stone to keep the zombies away, as the virus is brain-related. Unfortunately Wanda was turned, and Vis can't bring himself to kill her, so he's been luring innocent
As everyone splits up. Happy is taken out by zombie Hawkeye, and zombie Falcon has to be dispatched by Okoye. Once on the train, Sharon gets turned by zombie Cap, but is killed by Wasp, with Cap getting bisected by Bucky. Hope is cut during the fight and sacrifices herself by growing
Especially with Spidey, but you'd think everyone would be more covered. Turns out Camp Lehigh may have a cure for the virus so our squad makes it to Grand Central where they're able to get a train started, unfortunately another virus seems to have taken hold of our heroes; the idiot virus
a nice mix of minor and supporting characters: Okoye (from Black Panther), Kurt (from Ant-man), Sharon and Bucky (from Captain America), and Happy (from Iron Man). Spidey runs down the rules, basically don't show skin. One of my big problems with the episode is characters not wearing masks
Iron Man and Dr. Strange have been infected, and soon they infect Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw. Bruce is saved by Wasp, who dispatches the zombies with a horde of ants, and Spider-man, who swings him to safety, followed by the cloak of levitation.
We then meet the other survivors;
