Do you think that I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?
This is just a weird complaint to me because one of the most consistent things about the Doctor is that they are an incompetent and careless pilot. Even if the TARDIS didn't often take them where they needed to go they still would end up in the wrong place because the Doctor is useless at the wheel.

I think the main reason why is because the fans of those films didn't go out of their way to convince themselves that the ship would become canon, despite barely any evidence, and then throw a massive temper tantrum when they were proved wrong and blamed everyone else for their own mistake.
Still funny to me how the same people who complain that BBC Sherlock was homophobic and queerbaiting will still praise the Downey Jr/Law movies and go on and on about how "gay" they were.

Caught the end of an old episode of Taggart where the cops break into the suspect's car and rummages through his things until they find the crucial evidence they need to arrest him. Guess you don't need search warrants in Glasgow.

Someone has just reminded me of the terrible line from 'The Haunting of Villa Diodati' where Mary Shelley looks at the hobbled together Cyberman and calls him a "modern Prometheus". How the hell do you write an episode about Mary Shelley where even she can't get her own book right?

Sorry, but this is just pure revisionism. There's the usual rants about Cybermen, but for the most part 13 wasn't especially critical of AI and generative AI really wasn't a talking point when this era was made. In fact 13 was so pro AI in Kerblam she even let it off for murdering someone.

Will forever remain bewitched by Natasha Richardson in 'The Copper Beeches'.

When are we going to get an entire arc that is just Anya and Becky shopping?
November 29, 2025 at 3:56 PM
Not even 3 yet and already need the lamps on because it is so dark outside.
November 29, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Not a fan of how the dubbed version changed this to "poop head". Let Anya swear!

Oh no, some other fans have worked hard to make something dedicated to a character they love that these guys are under no obligation to experience at all. However will they cope? Those poor sad souls.

Says quite a lot that almost all the hate I'm seeing of Heaven Sent (and Clara) seems to be coming exclusively from middle aged white men.

Such a bizarre take on something that is regularly voted the show's greatest episode.

Is she? Yes, she gets to be sexy, which is nice to see in a character played by a middle aged actress, but is she really “heavily sexualised”? That kinda implies she wears very revealing clothes which isn’t the case, her sexiness is mainly just down to Alex Kingston’s whole aura.

No, mainly because it didn't actually happen.

Watched three episode of The Might Nein and it is a very different beast from The Legend of Vox Machina, something of a slow burn with a more serious (often bleaker) tone. Not sure if it is clicking with me yet. Also struggling to like any of the characters except for Jester.

One of these days I must get around to finally watching the Vasiliy Livanov Holmes series.

Audience culture is the worst it's ever been, I swear to god. People forgot how to act. I'm at the theater, trying to enjoy my show, which I've paid GOOD MONEY for, and these two old assholes are in the balcony heckling the life out of the poor bear onstage. Not letting him finish a single joke.

I should probably go to bed, but I'm too comfortable in my chair to move.

Alan Moore's time at Image is so fascinating because he's such an awkward fit for their characters and style, yet still managed to write an all time great Superman story using Liefeld's asshole knockoff version.

The guy most famous for putting a woman in a refrigerator for shock value is telling people they shouldn’t get mad about writers doing awful, tasteless things to female characters because that’s just how storytelling works.

I actually like the idea of the Doctor being privileged and yet still recognizing that there is injustice in the world and it might be fought and they didn't need a tragic past or to be a victim to realise that, showing that simply be privileged is no excuse for ignorance or inaction.

Weird that Seeley now seems to making light of the situation while equating one guy calling his She-Hulk artwork woke with lots of people, many of them SA survivors themselves, being genuinely upset about what he did to Magik and ignoring, muting or blocking even polite criticisms from fans.

That time the Twelfth Doctor totally started fucking Jonathan Bailey on the side.
