This movie has a scene where a group of townsfolk go into the forest to look for the werewolf and you see a big dude carrying a baseball bat shout "Whoa" as he's pulled down into a fog and then suddenly, A WEREWOLF HAND HOLDING THE BASEBALL BAT rises from the fog and swings down with a "Plunk!" But without the motivation and guidance, it's so easy to slide. I hope you're able to maintain and not be deterred (because I understand how it can feel like they're just going through the motions) so you can focus on making more days for your diet than your frustrations (We aren't perfect for sure)

The best advice I ever got was treating diets like a math problem. 2000 calories is the recommended and 3500 calories makes a pound, so if you cut to 1500 calories a day, you're chopping 500 calories a day and by the week you're already techinically down a pound. Extra exercise, yadda yadda...

I've had similar stuff. I had 3 month intervals, but it was still consistant enough that I kept at things, then they said I was doing 'so good' they were moving me to every 6 months despite me saying I preferred three. Got hurt at a July 4th party and then it was all down hill with extra cheese.

Tubi has the unique attempt that is CRITTERS: A NEW BINGE from 2019, which is cut up in 10-ish minute "episodes." At the very least, you can see some Gilbert Gottfried in a small role.

MASTERS OF HORROR's literal network station non-union equivalent FEAR ITSELF is on Tubi, which means you could see the episode directed by Larry Fessenden, starring Doug Jones, that is Wendigo centric (Which was also the last episode aired before NBC cancelled the show, leaving 5 eps unaired).

Silly Fun Fact: In the novelization, the writer adds himself to the meta story, as if adapting the script endangered him, complete with the last pages indicating the author disappeared after finishing the book, hinting Freddy got to him.

I downloaded the audio book and never hit play, so I feel that. The movie felt like a gorier Goosebumps story for the most part, but I agree it was good enough, if perhaps leaning on "Youngins don't know!" a bit much.

So, in stuff no one cares about, The Strangers: Chapter 2 is barely above $10 mil in the box office (when Chapter 1 made $48 mil, basically clearing the budget of the filmed-at-the-same-time trilogy). I'm standing by my prediction Chapter 3 goes direct-to-streaming "To see the thrilling conclusion."
