We fought to suspend Labour’s damaging car park charges. These fees are hitting communities, reducing visitors, pushing parking onto residential streets — with little revenue to show for it.

Our amendment was backed by all opposition groups… but Labour!

📢 On Wednesday we brought an amendment to Council calling for action:

✔️ Scaling up the number of bulky waste collection appointments.

✔️ Increasing the number of covert cameras to tackle fly‑tipping hot spots & identify offenders

Again Labour voted it down.

Our budget amendments will be put to council on Wednesday. Will Labour support their residents over their party? Our amendments would provide:

✅ More enforcement officers to tackle littering, dog fouling and parking issues.
