74 and very tired, I remember when…
* abortion was illegal
* women had fewer economic rights
* civil rights marches were on TV at dinner
* we marched in Vietnam Nam moratorium’s,
* and we watched Nixon leave office.
I do not want to remember again.

Just saw my hairdresser who is on Obamacare.

I asked if her premiums went up and she said: "No, they went down $400/month. I was auto-enrolled in Illinois Get Covered, Gov. Pritzker's health insurance program."

Want affordability?

Vote for Democrats.

After Marcelo Gomes da Silva was arrested by ICE on his way to volleyball practice in Milford, he made a promise to the men he shared a cell with: He’d be a voice for immigrants unfairly detained.

More than 2,500 Starbucks workers are on strike. They’re demanding dignity: fair pay, safe conditions, a contract that respects their labor.

It’s time their voices are heard at the same volume as CEOs earning millions.

Boyle has been the ranking member of the House Budget Committee since 2023, and is playing defense as the Republican-controlled Congress ushers through Trump's spending priorities.

It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

• Ordinary criminals (grift and corruption).

• Sex criminals.

• War criminals.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in the donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat

We must get big money out of politics.

It is the root of our dysfunction.
