It has its own Xtra account.

It did not accept my DJI login, lol

But they're public that they're behind Avinox. Here, they're not saying a word.

Recommend anyone in particular who could anonymously tell us concrete examples? :-)

means a lot coming from you! Ty kindly
seanhollister.bsky.social
hah I am not aware of this one!

Why would DJI do this when it already sells the Osmo Pocket 3 here? It's facing a total import ban on all new gadgets *this December* and Trump doesn't seem poised to change that.

DJI products have been disappearing from shelves; it's on its last legs in US. www.theverge.com/report/69239...
DJI ‘remains committed to the US market’ as shelves go bare of drones
Is DJI exiting the US drone market? The company says no.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

It looks like DJI is setting up Xtra to sell all its action camera gear under this "US" brand.

And Xtra is just one of a long list of suspected shell companies sneaking DJI gear into the US. www.theverge.com/report/79501...
Xtra: the company that lets DJI sneak its popular cameras into the US
An DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for $499? But it’s called Xtra.

Today I've got something different for you! This is the "Xtra Muse" — and it seems to be DJI's first attempt to sneak its cameras past US tariffs and bans!

See for yourself: this is a DJI Osmo Pocket 3, inside and out.

only now we can measure (more of) it quantitatively!
seanhollister.bsky.social
it's a prototype! wait for the reviews!

Am I crazy or should all battery-reliant gaming devices be benched more like this? Not "here's how fast it runs" but "here's how many hours and minutes you can get at playable framerate".
seanhollister.bsky.social
(Also, my tables show that Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered mysteriously just isn't getting a boost from Strix Halo on this prototype. I decided to show those benches anyhow because it's a legit test!)

to the riding it part, I mean, not the refusal part. LOL at your dedication to the BTTF ideal

Do you like benchmarks? I have benchmarks! Benchmarks of the most powerful handheld in the world.

But I'll do you one better: my last table shows how other handhelds can still beat it — *depending* on how long you need your battery to last.

Oooh yes! Join @davidpierce.xyz @andyjayhawk.bsky.social @seanokane.bsky.social for a whole hour chatting hoverboards! I have such fond memories of riding these magical feeling things, then quickly pivoting to stories about hoverboard fires and recalls.

Working on this show was one of the most fun, collaborative experiences I’ve had as a producer. Psyched that we finally get to share, please look forward to new eps every Sunday! youtu.be/fjXXDGx5Ggg?...

wow I'd never seen this Superman, can definitely imagine Ghibli animators being wowed and inspired by it
seanhollister.bsky.social
Or Castle in the Sky? That one's famous for the automatons and heavily inspired the two latest Zelda games

I first saw a library copy too! Think that one was VHS tho
