1. I mentioned this before, but given the recent influx it's worth repeating: When I left the former Twitter and came here, I took it as an opportunity to revamp my online persona to make it kinder and less prone to sniping at other people. I wanted a better energy to replace the angrier one I had.

Nostalgic Nerd Share…ran across my old Duncan Butterfly in a drawer and found myself playing for awhile. Ordered new string (one on there was at least 30 years old) and BAM … new toy during conference calls! :-)

Quick trip “home” and I’m sitting in my childhood bedroom playing Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on my Switch when I realized I was literally sitting where my old chair was ~30 years ago when I played the Original Legend of Zelda on my old NES.

It amuses me to see folks sharing their Spotify summaries of all their listening for the year….many of whom I have seen posting about the perils of social media and the loss of privacy from everything that is being tracked.

This is taking me a tick to fully absorb (not an “academic”, just a dude married to a pharmacist) but I can say the conclusions “feel” spot on anecdotally.

The situations in that insurance companies “instant replay” commercials would play out differently in my life. I’d be throwing the flag constantly to see where I left my phone….
