My mom asked me to come with her to my grandpa's appointment with the geriatric brain doctor today.
He got diagnosed with mid stage dementia. I'm glad I went with her so it was hopefully less overwhelming for her to process.
It's really rough to see someone get that diagnosis in real time.

My cat was breathing weird. I started thinking back on anything that seemed out of the norm lately, convinced myself he has heart failure.
Haven't been able to get in touch with the emergency vet, the line is busy.
We're googling and I'm getting more worried about what it's saying.
