When you see a pink flower this week, that's your sign to ground your energy. Balance is key.

He's disgusting!
The East Wing was first added in 1942, under Franklin D. Roosevelt, primarily to provide office space for the First Lady’s staff and to conceal a newly built underground bunker known as the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC) during World War II.
Tomorrow’s new moon in Libra is all about self-love and setting fresh intentions 🌑

So of course… I chose pink ranunculus.

In floriography, they symbolize a deeper connected love, radiant with charm, and new beginnings.

Feels like perfect flower for this moon doesn’t it? ✨🌸

Did you know that spiders sometimes like to hide on the top of apples? 🙃
If you look closely, you can see the legs sticking out. 🕷
Good to know if you're going apple picking.

There was an incredible turnout across small-town USA! Many events weren’t even on our radar. Our coalition initially tracked around 3,000 events, but the number has now surged past 4,000 and counting.
Did I get out of the car while in line for pickup, run up to a tree that has dangling seeds, grab a handful and take off?
YES And I'd do it again 🤪

Eastern Redbud has moderate growth, great for pollinators and song birds.

Perfect for a pollinator + cut flower garden. Draws in allies🫶

Those Ep files must be massive!

When you control everything, you can't blame anyone else. These websites are intended to be nonpartisan because they're paid for by everyone.
Newly mated queens "hibernate" (enter diapause). Workers, males, and older queens tend to die off.

Had one this morning stuck in my window (likely looking for warmth).

On the off chance it was a new queen, figured we give her a helping hand. #gardening #permaculture
Yes but we're good. What we have is a hand-dug well (that's about 200 yrs old) and it's super deep. What we can get is a drilled well which goes all the way down to bedrock (pricey, commonly what ppl have nowadays, and sometimes a crapshoot where I'm at).
Good news: We have water again!
Bad news: all that sediment kicked up (normal) and will take time to settle.
Other bad news, our softener went out. So... more work to do but hey, progress!!!
I'm rethinking my whole water conservation strategy to my off grid flower farm 💅

I'm legit going to do a water saving / rain barrel video now

Watched the sunrise this morning. Was top tier refreshing 👌. No emails, no calls, all nature. 10/10 recommend to you my friend.

Maybe tomorrow? You in? Share below 👇 I wanna see your sunrise pics!

My hope with my content is to interrupt your scroll to bring a moment of pause, take a breath, and watch the sunset.

It's okay to not feel okay, but just don't sit in that for too long.🫂

Reground yourself, talk a walk, be in nature. At the same time, might as well do a bit of a garden assessment.

Its okay to not feel okay, and it's okay to not have all the answers, but don't stay there long.

Check out this leopard slug from my yard today.

I went to look up more info on it and read this nugget: 🤔
"They are famous for their aerial mating dance, where two slugs entwine and dangle from a mucus thread!"

Still better than my prom night.😆
World is going to hell in a hand basket, but there are some things we can control and do.

Gardening is more than just growing things. It's grounding yourself, taking a breath, and tuning in to the rhythm of the ecosystem.

So buckleup buttercup, we got shit to do.🤓
I'm creating a platform to catalog all of my content in an educational format. My aim is to make it free and open.

And right now I'm working on different farm business plans that anyone can use. I've got 3 done so far, I want one more to launch with.
Something that I learned at my last place, that I'm bringing here to my new place, is how to purify the soil and help get it on track. Even though the soil is rich with microbes, there's still a lot of work to be done, and ANYONE can do this.
👇
This comment just inspired me to do a catch-up video. I've been drowning in stuff and feel like I can now surface with some legit goodies🫶
Oh it's a world of difference for sure! Oddly enough, similar composition of clay, silt, and sand, but not a single chemical used.
I've been learning a TON about the place and the land. Turns out where my garden is used to be where pigs lived. Where i was planning on putting flowers had horses....
The farm in September.
Leaves are starting to change. Deer and wildlife are getting more active.

Behind the scenes, I'm building 2 businesses at once. 🤓 One is scaling my landscape design business and the other is starting my farm. Both are so unique but yet connected, like how seasons change.

The Trump administration has put forward a plan to roll back rules that require corporations to disclose the amount of greenhouse gases they release. If approved, the change would prevent both the government and the public from knowing the scale of emissions contributing to climate change.
Bees got you anxious? Here are a few of my tips as a flower farmer (and someone highly allergic).
