Sen. Bill Cassidy, a liver specialist has spoke against this. Just one problem...he voted to confirm RFK Jr., claiming he was giving him the benefit of the doubt. He sold out his Hippocratic oath for faux loyalty to a president he knows is a raving loon.

This guy is an economist, and here he is trying to compare a percentage to an actual number.
Inflation is 2.9% If I make $60K, $1200 is only 2% of that. Therefore, inflation is outpacing my wage growth.

I'm GenX. Right smack in the middle. I have no desire to see the return of station waggons.
I’m losing it. They know that Gen X is the only demo they have any footing with and so they are going all in on the nostalgia slop for them.

This is true in pretty much every sci fi show built around a naval construct. Just finished re-watching "The Orville," and it's 100% true there.

According to a study published in JAMA, in the nine year period between 2015 and 2024, there were just over 800,000 drug overdose deaths total. Not millions, and certainly not millions per year.

I have quite a few friends in Minnesota. It is not a hellhole. And if you asked them, most would tell you the Somali residents have been a net positive for their community. They certainly were in Glendale, AZ, where there is another significant population.
Trump goes on another racist rant about Somalis: "Ilhan Omar should be thrown the hell out of our country, and most of those people -- they have destroyed Minnesota. It's a hellhole right now. Those Somalians should be out of here. They have destroyed out country ... go back to your own country."
