You can do a lot locally with a dedicated group of 15 to 40 people. Regular people should be thinking at that scale rather than at the scale of thousands.

I will always be more interested in #originalmusic but the great thing about seeing a solid cover band is seeing people (predictably or surprisingly) go apesh*t over a song. The crowd at this all ages community “block party” lost it over a Green Day song.
